關於鑔片釘的安裝：試了很多不同材質、尺寸的鉚釘，重量和長度對音色都會影響很大，直徑3mm長20mm的普通不鏽鋼鉚釘最適合，先用2mm的手工鑽打一個小孔，再用3.2mm的鑽頭鑽出大孔（不建議用電鑽打孔，容易划傷鑔片），裝上鉚釘，最後用衝頭鎖邊就搞定了。一般在ride上的鉚釘都會選擇距離鑔邊2cm左右的地方打孔，鉚釘數量根據自己喜好而定。在jazz ride或者效果鑔上安裝鉚釘會有很好的效果。（圖為安裝了三顆鉚釘的Soultone White Label Natural Prototype 22”crash/ride 鑔片）
